Additionally, customers are encouraged to sit and stay awhile as they enjoy their snacks and beverages. And because the urban lifestyle doesn’t always conform to business hours, the Urban Superette store format may offer building residents the opportunity to purchase essentials outside of operating hours. With this option, occupants can gain access via electronic access control, then shop for items, and scan their merchandise at a self-checkout.

Ready for more than one store? Street Corner also offers a Territory Representative Agreement (TRA) that provides a Master Franchisee with a guaranteed, protected territory in which they may develop their own network of stores (this may include any of the four store formats). Under such an agreement, the Master Franchisee remains active in selling, real estate, and store visits within their territory — and Street Corner corporate handles all branding, systems, and accounting. Half the franchise fee and half the royalties are paid to the Master Franchisee, and they have the ability to sell stores to other parties. Royalties are paid to the Master Franchisee as long as the location remains a Street Corner store (which could be decades). Pricing and additional requirements: pricing for a TRA is based on the size of the territory and the Master Franchisee must build at least one store. Each agreement will specify what number of stores must be opened by the Master Franchisee or sold within a predetermined time frame. Legal compliance with local franchise law is the responsibility of the Master Franchisee.
