Veteran Ohio-based Street Corner franchise owners James Condict and Neal Sebastian have expanded their Cincinnati footprint with a new store located in the city’s historic downtown Dixie Terminal. The store will serve the thousands of employees and visitors in this cluster of office buidings, which are architectural marvels that originally served as a transportation hub and home to Cincinnati’s stock exchange. The complex is now operated by the Great American Insurance Group (GAIG), which maintains its office headquarters there.
The partners opened the first Street Corner store in 2017 at The Banks, a revitalized mixed-use development on Cincy’s waterfront just steps away from Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. “Our decision to expand was always in the plan, but this particular store was pretty well established from a development standpoint, and the location is prime, so it was a real no-brainer,” says Sebastian. The store has a streetside entrance as well as an entrance inside the building. There are also a number of other businesses and hotels in the surrounding area, including the Downtown Renaissance Hotel and the Cincinnati Business Courier.
Street Corner Urban Market at Dixie Terminal is located at Fourth and Walnut Streets in downtown Cincinnati. In addition to a wide selection of convenience items, including snacks, beverages, and other everyday essentials, the store offers grab-and-go sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit, parfaits, and breakfast items.
Current store hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The owners plan to expand those hours in the near future.
