Street Corner’s Urban Superette concept is designed especially for city dwellers.
Nearly three decades ago when Peter La Colla started building a modest chain of convenience stores located inside shopping malls, he didn’t realize how much the convenience store industry would change. “My first Street Corner started out as a 235-square-foot store to the side of a food court at a shopping mall,” he said. Thirty years later, that first location still thrives, and La Colla has added more than 40 stores, mostly within shopping malls.
