It is with great pleasure and appreciation that I want to announce some significant changes at Street Corner. Changes that I am confident will be extremely positive with regard to the future success and growth of our business.
On Thursday, May 13, 51 percent of Street Corner’s ownership changed hands. As of today, Vincent DeBiase and I are the remaining previous stockholders, and we are now joined by Vikram Dhillon, Deepen Patel, Toby Doeden, Narinder Dhillon, and Palvinder Hundal.
Vikram has taken on a new leadership role as CEO, and he will focus on new business acquisition. I have been impressed by his enthusiasm, drive, and work ethic since joining Street Corner as a Master Franchisee. His knowledge about the industry and experience are exactly what we need to lead us into the future.
I will remain in charge of administration and operations as president and chairman. In addition, I am very excited about a few new external additions to our team: Andrew and Laura Perkins at Bluestem Creative (marketing and web support), Adrian Aybar (franchise support), and Dr. Fred Wencel (food services development). All of them bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields.
As a company, we encountered many challenges brought on by the pandemic, and we continue to work through them. We have several new and major projects in the works, and by this time next year, I am confident we will find ourselves reborn and reinvented as a company.
I want to thank our former stockholders for sticking with us through highs and lows. Their unwavering support is deeply appreciated, and I wish them the best with their future endeavors. Dan and Susan McCabe, on behalf of all of us, I sincerely appreciate your generosity in making your new Florida condominium available to all Street Corner Associates! Kidding aside, may you enjoy the new sunrise views.
