ABOUT
Street Corner Urban Market has opened its doors at the University of California San Diego. The store is the first Street Corner of any format to be located on the campus of a university, servicing thousands of students and faculty. It also marks the first store in San Diego County.
The store is part of Nuevo West, a LEED certified Gold graduate and professional housing community with studio and multi-bedroom furnished apartments. Additionally, the development includes 42 rooms for the La Jolla Family House, a program for families that have been transplanted while their loved ones undergo care and treatment for cancer/bone marrow transplants at UC San Diego Health. In fact, the development has a bridge that connects directly to the hospital.
In addition to a wide array of packaged snacks, beverages, sandwiches, salads, wraps as well as other non-food daily essentials, Street Corner Urban Market at UCSD features our new fresh food service. The highlights of the menu are high-quality “Naanwiches” and pizzas crafted and baked to perfection on naan bread in an on-site kitchen. All of these delicacies have been specially curated by our chef with both conventional and unique offerings, including beef bulgogi, tandoor chicken, spinach pesto, and fresh veggie pizzas. The menu also includes fresh salads like chile lime chicken, turkey club and Green Goddess Cobb, and the store will also serve a variety of English muffin sandwiches for breakfast.
